Background

Simon is an experienced, multi-skilled lighting cameraman and editor. He started camerawork and editing at university, working on a number of short films and documentaries. Since then he has worked professionally on broadcast news, corporate and training videos, and hundreds of live events. He is Treasurer for the Guild of TV Cameramen.

Simon also has over 10 years experience as a theatrical lighting designer and technician. Highlights include 6 UK tours and 3 Pantomimes with the Cambridge Footlights, and work on the national tours of Grease and Saturday Night Fever.

Background

Stewart’s background is in Educational Television in Australia where he held a multi-skilled role for over five years as a lighting cameraman, audio operator and editor, working in the studio and on PSC shoots. In addition he has been a lighting cameraman on numerous drama shoots, both in Australia and the UK. Since moving to the UK he has branched out to include multi-cam work on live events in his skills. A highlight of his career was the 2007 Cricket World Cup, where he was able to watch cricket live, then edit videos for the next broadcast within walking distance of the beach. In his spare time he likes to shoot drama projects with friends, watch live comedy and indulge heavily in his passion for live music.

Background

Ferdie is a degree qualified video editor and motion graphics artist who specialise in Final Cut Pro and After Effects.

He started his career in post-production at university during his final year at undergraduate level by filming and editing live events in and around London. As he began to understand his limitations in the industry, he decided to enrol in an MA course in Film, Video and Interactive Arts from which he graduated top of his class.

Even though most of his experience lies in the corporate and commercial sectors, he has a passion for all things creative and enjoys experimenting with new artistic styles.

In his spare time, Ferdie teaches English as a foreign language at his local college, a passion of his since early adulthood.

Background

Gareth has great experience of working in a fast paced office environment. He started as a freelance graphics operator, working on various broadcast shows. He then worked for a leading graphics company as customer support and then working his way up to Product Specialist. For this role he had to liaise with customers, organise their installations, training and update program.

In his spare time he enjoys photography and photo restoration, as well as “playing” football.
