Live Ingest and Chase Edit rack ready to roll at BVE

This week is Broadcast Video Expo (BVE) at Earl's Court. For the first time, Zest4.TV has a presence at the exhibition.

We will have flyers on the NMR stand (B26), as we try to push our new Live Ingest/Chase Editing (tm) hire solution. Zest4.TV's Head of Post-Production, Verster du Plessis, will be available on Tuesday to answer questions and Head of Cameras, Simon Roe, will attend on Thursday. We are looking forward an exciting exhibition where the quantity and quality of new technology have reached new heights, in particular tapeless high definition workflows.

Live Ingest/Chase Editing (tm) Solution

Zest4TV have invested in a first-to-market hire solution that allows customers to ingest up to four streams of SD/HD-SDI (with up to 8 streams of embedded audio) into a 6TB fibre RAID via a single 12-core Mac Pro. Even better, using the revolutionary Chase Editing (tm) solution, an on-site editor can edit that footage "on-the-fly" in Final Cut Pro whilst the incoming streams are still recording.

Chase Editing (tm) is possible thanks to the just:in multi product from Mac workflow experts Tools On Air.
